How we do it?

Initially the target was to increase visits from non paid search. However, it was later streamlined to other aspects like reduction of bounce rate, targeting the relevant landing pages with the keywords we are targeting. Once we set up a plan to target the correct destination pages with the relevant keywords, we were able to reduce the bounce rate over a period of 6 months from 41.44% to 10.38%. This meant more visitors were landing up in relevant pages in relation to the keywords they were coming into the site with.

Client wanted us to improve on the ranking for keywords like "Functional testing services", "manual software testing", "Performance Testing Services", etc. There after we came up with an in-depth website analysis & a strategic action plan which could take care of search engine popularity, increase traffic and ensure higher keyword rankings. The main target market of the client is United States and all our activities are primarily aimed at getting results from US perspective.

Goal

Following are the primary goals in this project:

  • Improving & stabilizing the most important keywords.
  • Diverting the traffic to the most keyword relevant landing pages.
  • Reduction of bounce rate.

Solution

We have started fixing the on pages issues like

  • Generating XML sitemap
  • Preparing robots.txt
  • Fixing other on page issues like Canonical issue / Custom 404 error page configuration
  • Even though the keyword is not in domain name we have made it brand familiar on
    the web.
  • Webmaster console & analytics are monitored on a regular basis for necessary course correction

The major focus in this project is mainly on off page activities as mentioned below:

  • Analyzing backlinks profile of main competitors and sourcing links from those sites
  • Content submission
  • Blog commenting
  • Guest posting in high PR & relevant technical blogs

Results

Scenario: Client's objective with Cadrenet was to get his site rank well in all the major search engines for his desired keywords.
